During winter, snow and ice transform summer routes into decidedly more technical and demanding paths. Progression takes place mainly along snow slopes or gullies and mixed terrain sections, using ice axe and classic crampons.
Winter Mountaineering with Società Guide Alpine Finale
Together with the Mountain Guide you will learn progression techniques, correct use of the rope, how to build belays on snow and anchors on rock. Finally, you will learn to plan the trip, that is, to correctly choose the route based on your abilities, its conditions and the snow and weather forecast.
